Don Karp

Don Karp

The original Woodstock Festival of Peace and Love, in 1969, was a major life-changing force. The US national Rainbow Gatherings following it kept the spirit alive. I met a guy while working at a folk fest in Upstate NY who invited me to visit the Rainbow community where he lived in Tepoztlán. By my third visit, I was hooked. It took me a couple of years to get it together and move. Mexico values family and community, with fiestas forming the glue holding those together.

Portal Panel - monthly zoom meeting

Connect with the Portal community EVERY MONTH with monthly Portal Panel Zoom gatherings.

The Portal Panel brings together speakers and participants for straight, practical discussions about sovereignty, conscious creation, and building meaningful community. These aren't presentations—they're real conversations where authentic connection begins before we physically gather.
