On April 8th, 2024, under a total solar eclipse in Mazatlán, a group of us came together — free thinkers, seekers, and builders. We weren't just there to witness something rare. We were there to create something real.
That moment sparked Portal Gatherings.
We realized we weren't alone in wanting genuine community — people who were building lives outside the mainstream, on their own terms, with intention. Not just talking about freedom, but actually living it.
In 2026, Portal found its forever home in Tepoztlán, Morelos — one of Mexico's most mystical Pueblos Mágicos, nestled in the mountains 90 minutes from Mexico City. We knew the moment we arrived that this was the place. The energy of the land, the magic of the town, the stunning mountain backdrop, the legends of the area itself being an energetic portal — it was clear this was no coincidence.

Portal is a conscious multi-day gathering in Tepoztlán, bringing together entrepreneurs, healers, independent thinkers, and sovereign-minded people for speakers, hands-on workshops, and the kind of community that doesn't dissolve when the event ends.
We believe in sovereign living, deep community, healing, and building real autonomy in the modern world. Our programming focuses on practical tools — financial independence, natural health, conscious entrepreneurship, parallel systems, and personal freedom — delivered by people who are actually doing the work, not just talking about it.
This isn't a conference. It's an immersive experience designed to send you home with clarity, connections, and momentum.

Meet the Founder
Lexi Maire has spent over a decade as a student and organizer of the freedom community — attending rainbow gatherings, libertarian conventions, anarchist conferences, and spiritual retreats since 2012.
With a background in accounting and years on both the local and state board of the Libertarian Party in Colorado, Lexi brings an unlikely combination of practical structure and genuine idealism to everything she builds. In 2020 she moved to Mexico, trading the noise of the pandemic era for something quieter and more sovereign — and never looked back.
She went on to work Agorapulco and Anarchapulco, organize Mariposa Freedom Festival for three years in Puerto Vallarta, and in 2024, gathered a group of like-minded souls under a total solar eclipse to start something new. Portal Gatherings was born from that moment — because there is nothing quite like building a recurring space where the most awake, free, and genuinely interesting people on Earth can find each other.
